San Fran - LA roadtrip
On Wednesday we got up insanely early (4am) to make the trip down to the city of angels. The drive took about 9 hours and we made it in one piece with no damage to the car, other peoples cars or ourselves. Stopped for coffee in San Jose at 6.30am, still in the dark after driving for 2 hours in the pouring rain with no street lights. From there onwards with caffiene and food in our systems, and the weather clearing to a nice sunny smog situation, it was easy sailing. We played christmas and 90s music the entire drive and stopped for petroleum and beach photos in Santa Barbara, Ventura and Malibu. We played the fun game "what does American candy taste like?". Apparently not so good. How are they so fat?! Slaaaash we know why, cos of their massive portion sizes. But the lollies are still gross. Pacific Coast Highway was gorgeous and really hot... Meanwhile Auckland was in the middle of a tornado. We even spotted several film crews on our way down the coast. Met up with the Extreme Team in Santa Monica and then made our way back to Anaheim to our hotel
