Contiki Day 8 - Colorado

Despite the fact that we had absolutely NO idea that our contiki went to Colorado and we had sent allll our winter gear back to California as we were expecting warm southern weather for the majority of our contiki, our Colorado stop rocked our world!!!

Our lunch stop for the day was in the little town of Durango and once again this town was heavily American Indian themed. We did a spot of power shopping and had a look around the town!

We then made our way up to Purgatory Mountain resort where we ate lunch, played in the snow and went snowmobiling which has to have been one of our favourite activities from the trip! It was sooooo much fun! We got a brand new snow mobile to share and got to take turns driving... Got some sweet air but managed to drive very skilfully and stay on while quite a few of our travel companions bailed into the snow and surrounding trees!

That evening we had another group dinner consisting of a deliiiish chicken salad, went to club walmart which is a 24 hour gigantic warehouse type store with everything you couple possibly need, and went back to the hotel for a 'room party' which we ended up leaving relatively early due to tiredness and a lack of patience for yucky boys and annoying girls.
