We managed to figure out yet another public transport system, and ventured through the rain out to the Opry Mills Shopping Centre, complete with Disney outlet and IMAX theatre. (Go see This is 40, it is HILARIOUS!)
The Grand ole Opry House is right next to the mall, so we checked that out (code for, it was bucketing down with rain so we stood under a canopy by the entrance to the mall and took a photo)
We wandered round the mall a bit, avoiding all stores we thought we might be tempted to spend in, bought some birthday candles and cupcakes, then headed back to the hotel (delicious dinner in bag) to pack up and get ready to hit another town!
Today we caught the megabus (after spending 20mins stressing waiting for a taxi, then standing on the side of the road in the snow) back to Memphis. The bus was extremely hot and stuffy, and due to Icy conditions we ended up spending an extra hour sitting on the motorway in gridlock traffic only 10mins away from the bus terminal! Very unideal. We weren't brave enough to use the 'facilities' on board.
Tomorrow it's off to Orlando! Going from 0 degrees celcius to 27 is a tricky way to plan clothes for the morning but we welcome the sunshine and heat with open arms!
