Universal was lots of fun! But it was cold.
All the rides were pretty old school apart
from the new Despicable Me ride which was a 3d simulator and super cute!
Went through a reenactment of Twister.
We walked through ‘San Francisco’ and went
to a disaster show and ride where they make a movie starring visitors to the
park.
Walked through Springfield and into Kidzone
where we met Spongebob, Patrick and Barney and went on the ET ride.
We then went back over to SF to watch the
Beetle Juice Revue – a live music/comedy show with Beetle Juice, Frankenstein,
Count Dracula, Teen Wolf & Frankenstein’s Bride. Was really cool!
We then went to the ‘Hollywood’ section and saw a horror film make up demonstration where they talked through how they do all the special effects in famous horror movies.
We tried caramel apples! They were
delicious but hard to eat.
Then went over to Fear Factor Live – a show
based on Fear Factor using visitors to the park as competitors.
After this we spent about 2 hours freezing
trying to decide whether to buy a hoodie or not.
We opted for a hot chocolate
instead and watched the parade
Then we hid in starbucks for about an hour
before watching the 100 year cinematic celebration. Was a light and water show
similar to World of Colour in Disney Land. Very pretty and had cool clips of
movies played on waterfalls.
The end.
